I finished high school. Yes, I was on my way to the wonderful world that is college. There I began my quest for knowledge. Today I stand with a BA in Graphic Design, a BFA in Photography and an MFA in Photography! Going to my ten year reunion was great and reminded me of how much I've grown since those days in high school. And to all those you couldn't make it, I hope to see you at the 20 year!

I am currently working on a couple of projects for movies. The largest being the work I am doing on props for The Green Hornet. Keep you eyes peeled and know that if you see anything gold in the movie I probably painted it!! I'm hope to keep working in this field and gain more experience and knowledge of what goes into a movie.

I am also getting into/continuing with a photo project that I started years ago. Please see the most recent picture. I am drawn to the lines that make up our power towers and power lines. They strike the sky and cut it sharply but have a quiet grace about them. I hope you enjoy.

So, about this whole blogging thing

I am at the beginning. The beginning of a new journey through space and time. Well at least from one side of this country to the other and from the busy days of college life to the long days of working. I've now applied for well over 50 jobs. I am hoping to be called soon, a bombardment of phone calls would be greatly appreciated. But I know that when the right one comes along I'll be there to accept it.

I'm living in LA now. It's a big change from the slow days of Savannah and the afternoon rain storms. I do miss the rain, but not the flooding! I miss the friends I have there and I miss the air. The wetness that hits your face when you open the door is at first a little jarring, but then you get used to it and it becomes part of you.

I am actively seeking out employment in the photography business. I love re-touching, I would marry Photoshop if Facebook would let me. I can't wait to get into something bigger than me that has a great creative force driving it! I specialize in portraits and commercial work but love all aspects of capturing an image.
