To Feast

Food photography has always been very exciting to me. Is that really milk in that bowl of Cheerios or is it glue? How many scoops of ice cream did they have to scoop to get the perfect one? And why doesn't my Whopper look like the one on the poster? Food photography is meant to entice, excite and make us crave exactly what we are looking at. I love food photography for the same reasons I love fashion photography and product photography; it makes us desire something we never knew we desired, and may not even need! The powers of persuasion and suggestion are quite strong!

Here are some photos I shot this weekend at the Indigo Grill in San Diego, Ca. I went for brunch but allowed myself dessert instead! Here you can see the artful plating and beautiful arrangement of the Chocolate Pistachio Torte and the Frittata along with some shots of the best blackberries I've ever had. Bon Apetit!
